Configuring the Xtelsio TAPI Driver

Crosswind VOIP supports the Xtelsio TAPI driver for use with third party applications.

Open “xtelsio TAPI for Asterisk – Configuration” application

TAPI_Click_ConfigureClick on the configure button

ON the window that opens up click on the “>>” and select “Connect new phone system PBS

Tapi_Step_3IP Address: Enter the IP address given to you on your TAPI Configuration page.

Port: Enter the port given to you on your TAPI Configuration Page.

Autentication: Set to manager.conf

Username: Enter the username on your TAPI Configuration page.

Password: Enter the password on your TAPI Configuration page.

Click on when all the values have been set

Enter then the Channel Value, Your phone number, select “Aastra Phone” for special device and check the check box for Context and enter the supplied value. One those values are filled out click on the Settings button next to Aastra Phone.

TApi_Step6Enter the LAN IP address of your Aastra phone, Check the Authentication button and enter the Admin for the username and enter the Aastra Password as shown on the TAPI configuration sheet. Click Test if everything is configured correctly it should return a OK.
